Now I have my own Personal Strategic Plan!

The first half of the year is almost gone. Any person worth their salt is preparing for a midyear review. Many different outcomes will come out of that process. Celebrations or disappointments hinges on whether or not you have a personal strategic plan?

I know at year start you set out to achieve specific goals and enjoy extraordinary success this year. 

Did you start off with the right tools to ensure your planned success is achieved?That’s why I’m writing to you today.

I would like to introduce yo to a program that I am using to cast a review framework for my personal goal assessment. I was introduced to this guy as a result of me being on Brian Tracy’s mailing list.
But before I do that I’d like you to consider a few important questions. Take a few moments to answer​ these questions.What if you ran your life the way the greatest and most successful

Your goal should be to get the highest return possible on the investment of yourself in everything you do. You are your life, and your life is your  time and energy. So, what I am saying is that your time and your energy (mental, emotional) and physical energy are investments.

Your time and energy are your personal equity into everything that you set out to achieve.

A business will want to maximize how it invests its equity, because in business, everyone knows and understands that equity is limited. We have only so much.

Is the same not true of your personal time and energy? You only have so much. So it only makes sense then, that you need to strategically plan how your investments of time and energy are being made, so that you can maximize them to get what you want.

That’s why when I got hold of this powerful program and started to use it, I immediately thought not to keep it to myself. It sure is proving to be the answer to getting my ticket punched! My game is definitely taking a different orbit.

Success Demands that you Grow Up

Time To Grow Up For Success

The world is full of people who want success but are not willing to step up and grow up in order to realize that success. If you spend your life avoiding growing pains and choosing the easy way out, you will grow up in years and physical form, but not in wisdom.

Age is just a number. There are 18 year olds who are more mature in the area of achieving success than some 50 year olds that I have come across. What makes the difference? Those 18 year olds have reached success maturity and the 50 year olds have not.

  • Success maturity is seen through making firm decisions.

    Decide to get rich and do something about it without apologising to anyone. If you want to become mature and ready for success, quit playing games with yourself. Decide you are no longer going to remain average. Take the time to have that conversation with yourself. Have that good and honest pep talk and counselling session where you will ask yourself these important success questions.

    • Do I really want to play all-in for success or am I just trying to be successful? Successful people do. They do not try.
    • If I were hiring for the position to take me to the success that I envision, would I hire me? If you cannot hire yourself to take you to that ‘place of success’, then quit or IMPROVE.
    • Am I ready to take 100% responsibility for my results as opposed to making excuses, blaming circumstances and blaming others? Unless you own your results 100%, you are powerless.
  • Success maturity is seen through burning bridges.

    Burning bridges can be exemplified by you making the below emotional commitment:

    • You decide that even if you have not quit your job yet, you are going to treat the hours that you have committed to work for your fortune as an entrepreneur as if you had quit your job. You still show up for work. You carry out your duties with faithful commitment. Outside of working hours, you work on your business as if it was the only job you had and the boss would fire you if you slackened.

NOTE: The problem could be that this situation is too difficult to imagine because even at work right now you are not being your very best and yet you are getting paid every month. So, you take with you that same lackadaisical attitude from your job into your work as an entrepreneur. How you do one thing is how you do everything!!!

THIS is how you light fire on the bridge for Success:

Burn the bridge by deciding a date on which you plan to quit your job. On that date you will be earning, say three times your salary from your business after all expenses and clearing all your debt. Write the resignation email and schedule its emailing for that date. Keep the draft and set a reminder in your diary to click the ‘send’ button on that date. When the date arrives, you will face the triumphant you, or the loser you.

If you do not have a job, probably because you have been laid off or you are straight from college, you can still set yourself a deadline. Decide on the income level you want to be at by a specific date. Set a reward or consequence for not achieving your goal by that date. If not achieved you face the consequence. If achieved you enjoy the reward.

In both instances, you should ask another trusted person  or people to hold you accountable for your commitment. Let them know what the stakes are and meet with them on the day.

If you cannot make that emotional commitment, then you are not yet ready to earn a significant income in your entrepreneurial venture. You are still an amateur trying to play the professionals game. Step up or forget it!

  • Success maturity shows when you decide to make Excellence your standard.

    Excellence is performing at a level higher than the common. It is where you decide to produce only fine, brilliant, superior, distinct and quality results. There is no room for flacking when you choose excellence as the standard for all the work that you produce. If you are still willing to settle for less, you are not ready for the kind of greatness that you proclaim or imagine for yourself. No matter how much you talk, your actions will say who you are. Make the transition from mediocrity to excellence.


It is going to be tough, yet it is the only way through. Push through the physical, emotional and spiritual pain. There is no excellent thing that will just materialize without blood, sweat and tears. Success belongs only to those who commit to DEDICATION, DISCIPLINE, PESEVERANCE and PERSONAL INTEGRITY and execute all tasks with BRAVERY, COURAGE and RELENTLESNESS. Make the decision to become that person today.

Vision Cast And Win Big In Your Home Business

On TargetAs a network marketer, are you looking for the magic formula that will give you that breakthrough to start achieving the results that you have always wanted? Every year you set goals to achieve in your business but you never achieve them!

Pay attention to what I have to say. GOALS are not enough! Yes, you heard me right. Instead of goals, have a visual of who you want to become! I know that in our business for us to rank and be recognized, we must reach a certain level of income. I bet your goals have been based on the levels of income you want to achieve or the rank that you want to attain. Do not focus on the money or the rank. Focus on the person that you want to become. How do you want your team to know you? How do you want your family to know you? Focus on becoming that person and the results will follow.

See yourself as that parent who is able to provide for your children the important things in life. Let that vision pull you to take the actions that will get you there.

Your vision will inspire you to not make any excuses. It will eliminate fear and cause you to grow beyond what your current circumstances say you are. You will be able to overcome all the excuses that you have been allowing yourself to buy about why you are not getting the results you want.

Cast a vision of who you want to be. Tat vision will pull you out of bed when you do not feel like getting up. It will have you talking to more prospects about your product and opportunity with more purpose. Ultimately you will become the person who merits the income that you are aiming for.

Three Career Mental Blocks Against Network Marketing To Overcome

When I got started with network marketing for the first time, I was a fully fledged career woman with a beautiful corner office working as a corporate executive with mental blocks to the profession.

What attracted me to the concept at first was the product. I loved the product and I saw a lot of value in using it. It was the kind of lifestyle product that I had always wanted for myself and my family.

I was very skeptical and suspicious about the business model of network marketing as I had never done it before and was yet to meet someone I knew personally who was successful in it.

The fact that I could not afford to use the product because of lack of extra money at the end of my salary opened my eyes to the fact that I needed to look at the business concept differently. Through it I could raise enough side income to be able to use the product that I loved so much.

That was when my journey in network marketing began. In this post I share with you three important mental blocks I had to come to terms with in order for me to start seeing some significant success with my business.

1. Understand The Power of Network Marketing
No. 1 of Mental blocks was that NWM does not work.

Network Marketing is a 100 Billion dollar per year industry. There are individuals that I know personally now who have completely changed their lives through this business model. From being frustrated, overworked corporate employees to being healthier, happier individuals who have cut down or completely eliminated their corporate office hours. I am one of those who are making an almost full-time income and have cut down the hours I put into my job related work to 30%.

Moreover, the job market in my resident and home country is shrinking daily and to see individuals who would have had no fall back after losing their jobs getting ahead to make a living for their families without a job is amazing. Also globally the baby boomer generation (of whom I am at the tail end) are retiring with less than exciting retirement packages. Many are finding a way of remaining relevant business-wise as well as beefing up their pensions through this noble profession. This article on the Forbes website is an eye opener on planning for retirement using network marketing.

2. Do Your Due Diligence
Number 2 of mental blocks was that NWM has no professional credibility.

One of the first steps I took after deciding to do the network marketing business was to do my background research. At first I started by Googling the company and the product. I must say based on what I found on Google, had I not used the product once before, and enjoyed the experience, I would have cancelled my membership and forgotten about the business. Some of the reports were so contrary to what I had experienced the one time I used the product that I knew they were lies. What I have discovered with time is that not all the information on the net is fact. Do a scientifically sound research exercise that covers a broad spectrum of criteria before making a conclusion.

So I decided to take a different route. I chose to attend a live event that the company was having in South Africa. I drove to Johannesburg and what I saw and heard there was enough to seal my decision. Meeting the company leadership from Head Office in the USA, listening to the long term business vision that the founders had and talking to local business reps and customers made me see the value of personally getting involved in the business as well. A friend that I trust with whom I partnered to do the research actually flew to the USA to check out the physical existence of the company. I even asked a former school mate who lived in the state where the company HQ was to go check them out as well. Their reports confirmed what I had already seen myself.

So do your research and make sure that the research is not just doing a Google search of the company name. Use your professional acumen and do a credible research exercise. Once your belief in the company and the business model they offer is secured, move on to the next level.

2. Believe In Yourself
Number 3 of Mental blocks was that I was too cool for NWM and I could not do it.

The fact that you are a corporate executive or a career professional means that you are an intelligent person who can make informed decisions about your financial future. Be confident about the decision that you have made. Approach your professional colleagues to market your product with them without shame or fear. Understand the mental barriers they themselves might have to the business model (you were once there yourself anyway) but do not seek their opinion or permission when promoting the concept with them. Shed off that I Am Too Cool attitude that I have seen cripple the networking careers of many conventional career professionals. The personal value that the network marketing profession has is way beyond what any job can offer (the earning capacity, the time freedom and the personal development you will build are invaluable). Believe in yourself and the decision that you have made and if need be, spend less time with those who deride the choice that you have made.
