Get An Autoresponder & Boost Your Internet Marketing

Shout quietly...

Shout quietly…

An autoresponder is a tool that will revolutionize the way you communicate with your new and old customers.

Recently I posted about keeping blog content flowing to keep your customers engaged. If you missed that article you can read it here. As you read that article did you wonder how you are to manage the data base and communication with thousands of people?

Wonder no more. I will show you how an autoresponder makes it all come together.

What is an autoresponder? It is a system that allows you to automate communications with people who opt into your mailing list. Bear in mind that my leaning is towards blogging as your main marketing platform. There are four functions that an autoresponder enables you to do:

1. An Autoresponder Merges Your List Building With Your Business Building Platform
Mailing list

The biggest challenge every blogger faces is how to generate quality leads and build an email list of loyal customers. By integrating an autoresponder with your blog you can capture names and email addresses of people who visit your blog. Leaving their contact information means they are giving you permission to contact them..

An autoresponder enables you to integrate a capture form onto your blog. You must couple that capture form with a good quality, high value incentive for individuals to leave their names and email addresses.

2. An Autoresponder Allows You To Engage and Keep New Leads

As soon as an individual adds their name to your email list, your autoresponder should kick in. It should send them a welcome email and automatically deliver to them the offer that you promised them when they joined your mailing list. Engagement from a well written welcome email and a high value offer is likely to keep them on your list to eventually convert from prospects to customers.  Constant contact from you through the autoresponder is a sure way to do that. The system allows you to nurture new customers and create lifetime customers of the ones you already have.

3. Releases Time For You

The most effective way of utilizing your autoresponder is to create a series of automatic messages that a new registrant to your email list receives. Use both video and text communications for your follow up messages to be engaging. Videos with your face on them make the follow ups more personal. Once your autoresponder is set, you will not have to worry about sending individual welcomes to each person who signs up on your mailing list. That definitely releases a lot of time for you to attend to other aspects of your business.

By the way my friends at Getresponse provide autoresponder services and this being the holiday season they have some cool discounts if you would like to go ahead and get an autoresponder for your blog. Check out the discounts at their website here. They are also giving a bonus after purchasing. It’s a free course on building your list in either 90 or 180 days. It’s awesome!

If you found this information useful for your business, please leave a comment and share with the people that you know will benefit from it.

How To Create Continuous Blog Content

Blog content, the life blood of blogging

Blog content, the life blood of blogging

Blog content is the life blood of internet marketing through blogging.
One of the biggest challenges that I have faced as a blogger is how to make sure I have a continuous flow of blog content to post for my blog audience.
Writers block can set in and you might find yourself going for days without posting any new blog content simply because you just cannot produce it.
In a bid to cure myself of the dreaded writer’s block, I read around and found several articles that allowed me to condense the solution into five steps that I am going to share with you here.
1. Schedule Your Time
It is painful to come to the end of a day and realize that it has gone by and you have not used it effectively. To be successful, you must organize the use of your time with the utmost discipline. Time has a tendency to pass by quietly. The discipline to notice that time is passing can only come if your day is mapped out with activities feeding into your goals to use as a yardstick when the day ends.
As a blogger, producing and publishing blog content is a definite activity that feeds into your goals. Set aside a specific time of the day when you carry out the task of producing blog content. Understand your body rhythm and make sure that the time you schedule is when your focus and concentration is at its best.
2. Just Write
When the time to write comes, sit down and just write. Do not be paralyzed by wanting the first draft to be perfect. That is one of the personal traits I have had to overcome, that of wanting my work to be perfect the first time. Once you have selected the subject for you to write about, just let it flow from your brain onto your screen or paper. That is why your computer has an editor! You can then edit the work to make it publishing ready.
3. Disengage or Take a Break:
Even machines have working cycles. As humans we also need to take a break when we feel that the body needs it. Walk away for a few minutes. Look outside the window, go to the garden for a walk or make yourself a refreshing drink in the kitchen. You can organize your breaks by using the Pomodoro Technique where you have a burst of work for about 20-25minutes and then take a 5-10 minute break. This technique teaches you to maximize your brain’s concentration power as it knows that relaxation is coming. I have decided to use my breaks to do menial tasks around the house such as soaking my laundry, dusting a piece of furniture, organizing a corner of the room that needs it etc.
4. Eliminate Distractions:
Have a proper designated working space where you can close the door and make sure that even the kids will not wander in to disturb you. If your focus is constantly being pulled between several different places, your productivity and quality of work is bound to suffer. In these days of social media however the kids are the least of your worries when it comes to distractions. When it’s time to create your blog content, silence or switch off all communication devices. Turn off notifications from Whatsapp, Facebook, Emails etc. In fact you should have specific times of day when you pay attention to these social media and have specific objectives to achieve when using them. I am a recovering social media addict myself and have switched off all notifications as I write this article.
5. Take Inspiration From Where You Find It
There are a number of inspiration sources that could work for you. I find reading or re-reading a chapter from one of my favorite books gives me ideas on blog content. Visit inspirational quote websites on your favorite topics. Take a walk. Listen to inspirational audios. Work with what you have access to. Sometimes I have had an idea of a blog article after talking to my kids or working in the garden. Do what suits your personality.Blog

Well, my formula is out on what works for me to bring forth the creative juices. I would love to hear from you what inspires you to create blog content or to write if you are a book author. Scroll down to the comments box and let me and our other readers know.

Blogging Is A Powerful Home Business Profit Tool

Learn How Blogging for Profits Works

To express my passion for writing while employed in a scientific environment I started blogging in 2012. At first I was blogging just for fun as well as to share my thoughts with anyone who stumbled upon my content and got interested.

During that time I was also looking for ways of using internet marketing for my web based home business. My research led me to information that opened to me a whole new way of marketing using a blog. I realized I could turn my passion for writing into a powerful business opportunity.

I have over the years taught myself skills on how to set up a blog and learned from other bloggers how to improve the visibility of my blog on the net.

Let me share with you some important facts and skills that you need to know about how to use blogging to grow your home business profits.

1. Treat Blogging as a Business

If like most people you have been treating your blogging activities as a hobby, it is time for change. If you are to make a livelihood out of blogging, your attitude needs to change. You have got to treat it as a serious business and grant it the time that it deserves in your scope of daily activities. The phrase ‘try it out’ should not be in your vocabulary. Go all out and give it all you have in order to realize real profits.

2. Invest Some Money

Invested money breeds more money. In addition to your time, to have a successful blog you need to spend some money to make it look professional as well as to market it. When you make money from your blog, do not spend all of it. Reinvest some of it. Advertise your blog through PPC to generate more traffic. Rather than use a free theme, purchase one that will enhance your blog’s look as well as have SEO optimization intergrated into it . I use The Thesis Theme for WordPress

3. Have a Fall Back Plan As You Build Blogging Profits

While growing a plantation, it is necessary to grow annual crops for survival. You blog is a plantation and it will take some time to establish and start paying you big monies. In the meantime you need to be doing activities that will pay your bills in the immediate term. Allow advertising on you blog, market affiliate products as well as develop your own products to sell to create immediate income.

4. Blog Responsibly

A wide audience acceptance will make sure you make good monies from your blogging. For that to happen you must blog responsibly. Avoid coming across as an angry individual who is using the blog to vent out your anger and frustration at the world. Rather come across as offering solutions to people’s problems. Aim to post value content that people will keep coming back for.

Blogging really does pay off in the end. As a result of promoting my blog on social media I have been invited to be an author on a prominent job recruiting website. What it means for my blog is that it will receive more organic traffic as I back-link to it on content that I will post on the recruiting website.

How To Use Facebook Right To Market Your Business Opportunity

facebook ImageYou have heard it mentioned so many times that social media, mainly facebook is a powerful business opportunity marketing tool. I know it is, because on my team, 75% of active and productive personally introduced members I met through facebook.

There is however a correct and a wrong way to use facebook for business. Today I am going to share with you the correct way how to use social media in general and facebook in particular. Here we go.

  1. Do Not Spam

Spam is internet’s most hated practice. This is when you send links to people who did not ask for the links. I see it happen so many times. Someone sending me a link to some product or opportunity that I did not ask for is so irritating and to be honest I never open the links. I may respond kindly to them that I will look at it when I get time but the truth is I never create the time.

What I appreciate though is when someone engages me via private message in an intelligent relationship building conversation that will end up in me saying OK let me have a look at what you have. That is what we call prospecting. When you prospect on social media you start a direct and private conversation with your facebook contact to build a relationship that will lead to them asking or giving you permission to share your opportunity information with them.

  1. Minimize Direct Selling Links on Your Profile

I have seen many people post links leading to sales pages or landing pages. When I see that I just ignore the links. These posts are posted by people whom I believe are too lazy to make the effort to build personal relationships through prospecting. They post them with the hope that by chance someone will be interested and click on the link. What they forget is that people are generally put off by being sold. Such links should constitute less than 2% of all the posts on your profile.

  1. Post Value Content

People will generally respond positively to information that will educate and inspire them. Regularly post your own content through blogs and notes on your profile. Once inspired, your contacts will reach out to you and ask you for information about joining your team or generally about your opportunity. That quest for knowledge has gotten me some strong business partners.

  1. Do Not Post Your Company Name or Logo

Until recently, I used to post information that gave away the identity of my company. I would not post the name as such but from the posts, it was not difficult for people to find out what my company was. I later discovered that splashing the logo around like that took away the curiosity from my contacts. I stopped this practice when I realized that prompted by the logo, some had looked for information on google and stumbled upon one or two negative articles about the opportunity and decide against it. It is not easy to win back such people. Keep the identity of your company private so that you share it with them properly yourself as opposed to them ‘googling’ for information.

Did you find value in this post? If you did please leave your comment and feel free to share with others whom you know need this kind of information.

Blogging Can Make You Good Money

Blogging Can Make You Good Money

bloggerOne of the things that I really love to do is write. Writing immortalizes thoughts that would otherwise just drift away and never be remembered. How nice it is to do what you love and get paid for it!

That is one of the reasons why I have chosen to do blogging. I get to share my thoughts, insights and lessons learned in life and I can at the same time add value to the time spent tapping the key board by monetizing it.

I am yet to fully utilize the full money potential that blogging has. Nonetheless I have learned and am applying three  activities on my blog that are enabling me to make money through doing what I love, blogging.

1. Blog on a Specific Niche

If your niche is in photography, your blogs posts should be on photography. Do not blog about everything and anything under the sun. I know that life is broader that just one subject but talking about all of them will appeal to no one in particular. On your blog you want to build a regular stream of visitors through target specific information. Set up affiliations with others who are in the same niche as well.

2. Market an Array of Affiliate Products

affiliate producThere is a difference between affiliate and competing products. An affiliate product compliments your efforts to sell your product rather than compete with it. A network marketer like myself can easily market affiliate products that I have purchased on network marketing training as opposed to marketing other network marketing products.  So rather than get paid just from selling my product and sharing my opportunity, I also market complimentary generic training products on network marketing. It is a way of sharing value with my audience by sharing information they otherwise would not have access to had it not been for my affiliation with it.

3. Develop a Traffic Strategy

strategyA traffic strategy is one in which you have a plan as to how to place your blog posts in front of eyes that will read it immediately after posting. Writing a blog and hoping that someone will stumble upon it will not get you the kind of success that you want. Think about how you will get people to at least see your content. With regular exposure, many people become regular visitors to your blog and with time they will convert to customers and buy products from the site.

If you love writing and have a blog but you are not getting the results that you are looking for in terms of traffic and making money, I would like to invite you to enroll on Ray Higdon’s 60 Day step-by-step Course on How to Make Money Blogging.

I know you will send me a thank you email once you are done doing what you will learn on this training.

Please share this article on your facebook and other social networking profiles or email it to friends and family who love to write but do not know how to convert their passion into cash.
